Fantastic food! Honestly, everything I have tried on their menu so far has been excellent. I think they only do delivery for the moment, but it is really worth trying them out - prices are extremely reasonable as well. The packaging is great too and you can see that they pay attention to details. Recently ordered their truffle galouti sliders & curry crab dim sums. Both fantastic.

I think the highlight of this place is that it is located in Marina Cubes - a bunch of box park styled venues at the port rashid marina, close to where the QE2 is stationed. Great views from the upper deck of the restaurant. Tried their coffee and their honeycomb lotus. Particularly enjoyed the lotus dessert and can imagine that they are good with their pastries/ desserts.

What a great place this is! This place does really well during lunch so if you are heading there for a lunch meal, plan for a possible wait. Food is great too! Tried the onion toastie and really liked it. Would go back just to eat that. Also tried the sweet french toast which I would definitely recommend. Great place to do some work as well as long as you are ok with a little noise in the background.

Been wanting to try this place out for a long time as I have heard great things. Tried the cod, then dragon sushi, the indomie and the corn waffles. Everything was fantastic! We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the marina and the fantastic weather. Great service as well. A little expensive though, but you can tell that they use high quality and fresh ingredients! Had a great evening and would definately return!

Dropped by at La Mer to grab lunch on a weekday with my wife and daughter. Parked in the basement and qs soon as we took the escalator up, the scorching heat made us quickly find the closest place to enter and thats how we dined at The Duchess. We tried the Mexican Scrambled Eggs and the Smoked Salmon Sandwich. The food was good overall but I did find it expensive. The staff were really sweet and very courteous. Great Service overall!

A group of 7 of us were keen to try out a new burger place in town. We had heard a lot about She Burger so we tried it out. Go there around 8 on a Sunday and it was fairly crowded. We shared the her messy fries and the holy grail. Both were quite good. I tried the biggy munch and the mad chicken burgers and would recommend both.

Nice concept. They really are very passionate about their food and you can see it especially when you talk to the head chef. I had a take away order and they packed everything very well. Really enjoyed the rolls. Also enjoyed the sauces and krisps. Half a roll is even a good enough portion for lunch!

Been here twice and thoroughly enjoy their food. Although this looks like a sit down restaurant unfortunately its self service so we had to wait in line to order. I guess that means they are popular but I'm not a fan of waiting in line. The management here is really courteous though and are always asking if everything is fine and they offer to take your second round orders at the table. Anyway, the food is really good. I really like their truffle pasta, truffle fries, crispy chicken potato slider and their lotus drama. Tried their truffle burger twice. Once with the fried onion web and once without. Really enjoyed it without the fried onion web and hated it with them. Also we went in a big group of 15 people so getting a table organized at dinner time was a huge task which took us about 30 mins so wouldn't recommend for big groups unless going at off peak hours.

Heard a lot about this place. I believe their first few branches are in India but when I asked their staff they said they are originally from Belgium. Not sure if that is correct though! Nevertheless, the milkshake I tried was upto my expectation. I tried their lotus milkshake which comes in an awesome old school glass bottle, taking you back down memory lane when sodas were bottled in a similar manner. The lotus milkshake was excellent and the portion was generous. Could easily split it with another person. They are not easily visible so you may need to look at the map to find them at La Mer.

It benefits from the excellent la mer ambiance and is a great place overall but unfortunately I did not enjoy the meal we tried there. My wife and I tried the bolognese pasta but neither of us liked it. Perhaps we should have tried their pizzas as I hear they are decent.

We ordered the hot pot sticker, bullet chili paneer, chiang mai curry and Cantonese fried rice. Service was quite good and overall we had a great experience. Pastas were cooked al dente style which made them feel uncooked and hard which is actually more authentic Italian but perhaps not to my taste. Pizza was Good. Ambiance was nice. The staff are polite but they did forget one of the dishes we ordered. Wouldnt go back unless I heard they've really improved the food.

First visit to La Mer. Believe me when I say that Dubai has outdone itself yet again. This place is going to be one of the hottest spots in Dubai. Loads of restaurants coming up. We picked Bareburger as we were a gang of 10 craving burgers. The Macho fries were really good while the onion rings were not much to write about. I tried the Standard burger which was good but not fabulous. It was super messy though, so wouldn't opt for it again. The rest of my crew enjoyed what they ate but we're not blown away. They seemed to have a limited menu at the moment so I guess there will be more options later on. Ambiance is great though!

Often look forward to a good ol' sandwich for lunch because sandwiches are easy to eat, they are straight forward and they do not require me to take a long time to gobble down. I also do not like to waste time picking my toppings and therefore was quite pleased when a friend suggested that we headed down there for lunch. We dropped by their DIFC location around 3pm so it was quiet. The servers were quite quick in offering there suggestions which I completely ignored as I had already decided to go for the BBQ Chicken from their Signature press. Thoroughly relished it especially with the side of soup that they offered. Totally worth the visit and would definitely order from here.

Was here Friday night post dinner for some ice cream. It was extremely crowded and people were all over the place. There was no proper queue and because it is a small branch it felt over crowded. The ice cream was ok but with the rush, it felt as though they made the ice cream really fast and didn't really make it as well as they normally do. Only 2 people handling the large crowd so I would recommend that the management gets a third staff to help over the weekend. There were only few tables available and they were not cleaned which was surprising.

The ambiance and service was quite good overall although they took some time to bring us a few things we asked for. Since we were a large group, we had the chance to order a variety of items on the menu. The food and presentation was really good and it is one of the few venues that offers a great experience without hurting the pocket. The food is served quickly and they get 100 points for their presentation, although they good do with bigger tables to accommodate the serving dishes. I would definitely recommend this place and I would personally return. Parking is also easily available in the basement parking area of city walk phase 2.

Normally have to wait for hours to get a table here. Was at Galleria mall today and took a chance and checked with them whether they had availability for four and they took us right in! The ambiance is quite chic with melow lighting considering it is a sliders/burgers restaurant. The service is pretty quick. I tried the midnight slider and the wagyu cheese steak premium slider. I particularly liked the midnight slider because it was more authentic. My friends tried the dangerous and firebird chicken sliders, the mushroom and swiss slider and also the manhattan burger. All were good and tbe manhattan burger was exceptional if you like the more authentic burgers. In case you are not a burger fan, this place is still worth visiting just for its desserts. The chocolate fondant and oreo pancakes are both devine! The bill for 4 people came to AED 400 inclusive of a tip.

The ambiance is quite chill and it is decent for its pricing. They are good at the popular Thai dishes like the thai green curry and the pad thai, but everything else we tried we were not too impressed with. The dim sums were fine. The food was good and the bill came to approximately 200 per person after a 20% discount that we managed to get through one of the credit cards.   I visited Tom & Serg yesterday for lunch. Let me start with the parking - there is an open sand lot opposite the restaurant. Not a preferred place to park if you are not driving an SUV, but we had no choice as we were unable to find any other parking. It was a busy restaurant but we were lucky to get seated soon after entering. The decor is very simple with no frills but offered a relaxed and homely atmosphere. As soon as we were seated our server took our order. He was very helpful in providing us with his recommendations. We eventually ordered a single morning after, a chilli garlic spaghetti, a satay chicken, a smoked salmon bagel, scrambled eggs on toast along with a side order of french fries. We also tried their milkshakes. We shared the food amongst four of us. Overall the food was great. I particularly enjoyed the satay chicken and the smoked salmon bagel. The "morning after" was good but I preferred the other main courses. The main course portions were of decent size. I would definitely return!

Getting to The Beach, JBR is difficult on the weekends because of the traffic. We were stuck in traffic for about 45 minutes from the entrance of Sufouh till the underground parking area at The Beach. We walked around a bit before choosing Leopold's of London for our dining venue that evening. Food was great and the service was good. We ordered a barbecue chicken pizza, fish and chips, and leopold's burger sliders. We were only 3 of us so we thought 3 main courses would be an adequate quantity. Their portions, however, are good so we could have even managed with only 2 main courses instead of 3. The sliders are definitely a larger portion than other places. The bill was AED 278 including the 3 dishes, water & juice. I would recommend dining here especially during the winter season in Dubai so you can enjoy the outdoor experience here .

Dined here on Thanksgiving day as they were one of the few restaurants offering a Thanksgiving meal. 4 course meal for about AED 180. Soup & Risotto were very good but I thought the main course Turkey could have been better. The fourth course which was the cheesecake for desert was very good but was missing some crust! Service was not too good. First we wanted to sit in the Terrace area of the restaurant but they said it was all reserved. Since we were only 4 of us and it was mostly empty, we asked them if they could accommodate us but they refused. The terrace area remained fairly less occupied until we left the restaurant so we found that very strange. Some of my guests were quite upset with this and that is why I have given a poor rating on service. Difficult to get a spot here after 8:30pm so I advise booking in advance.

The food is definitely rich in calories but a good option if you are looking for a venue that offers Mexican food and margaritas. They do offer large potions of food as well.   For fondue, we usually dine at Vintage at Wafi but we were keen to try something new so we decided to visit Cave at The Conrad. It is located on the Mezzanine floor so we could simply walk up the stairs from the lobby. At first it seems like Cave offers limited seating, but as you walk in further it does offer more dining tables and relaxed seating areas towards the inside. In fact they offer some sort of beds to lie/sit on which is quite unique. I liked the ambiance very much although. Thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of grape we ordered and the fondue savoyarde was also very good. That's all we ordered actually along with a bottle of water. We ordered 2 portions of the fondue, 1 bottle of grape and some water and the bill came to over AED 600 for 4 people. Fortunately we had a 20% discount offer there through one of the credit cards which made it more reasonable. Enjoyed the experience overall and will definitely return.

Tashas

We went on a Thursday night and it was very difficult to get a table. They gave us a 1 hour wait, but then offered us a high table situated outside of the restaurant but inside the mall. My guess is that perhaps no one else was willing to take this table as it was uncomfortable. They told us that we could move if a table opened up in the restaurant area so we decided to go ahead with the high table. Never managed to move to the restaurant area which was disappointing. We ordered a baked veg pasta, a wild mushroom cream pasta, the mexican, beef burger and tabouleh halloumi salad. My friends who were vegetarian did not enjoy their food. The beef burger order comes as 2 sliders with fries and was quite good. I guess you could skip this venue if you are vegetarian or perhaps ask your server to recommend some other dishes apart from the ones I have mentioned. It is a lively cafe and I would probably return. Unfortunately though, you cannot make a reservation which means that you could be in for a long wait. I do not recommend the high table. My rating is based on what I ordered and not the vegetarian food that my friends ordered. I did find the restaurant quite expensive.

Home Bakery

Apart from ice cream or frozen yogurt places, Dubai seems to lack venues dedicated to desserts. Having visited Home Bakery, I am happy to report that this is perhaps one of the best places in town for desserts and baked goods. We ordered a Ferreo which is a dome of chocolate on which they poured warm hazelnut chocolate sauce which resulted in the dome melting. This is perhaps my favorite dessert now. A must try. We also ordered 10 pieces of the chewy melt cookies which were also fantastic as was the chewy melt milkshake. I wouldn't make this a routine but if you are willing to take in some sugar, look nowhere else. A friend ordered the white peach tea which seemed like a very boring order considering the options available, but she liked it very much.

Chinese Village (Bur Dubai)
Seaview Hotel Al-Mina Road Opp. Dubai Ports and Customs Building

Visited on a Friday evening with family and enjoyed the food. It's your typical "Indian Chinese" restaurant and perhaps if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, you should probably look for other options. Atmosphere and Decor are not the best but then again if you're looking for a 5 star ambience, look elsewhere. In starters we ordered crispy spinach prawns, chicken dim sum and crispy threaded paneer which were all great! The fish and chicken dishes in our main course were pretty good as well. Overall, food was very good but definitely not for the health conscious. Bill worked out to about AED 450 for 5 people including a beverage per person. Dish portions are good. Overall I'd recommend it.

New Sind Punjab (Karama)
Karama Shopping Centre Near Fish Market
location in Karama

Sind Punjab is a favorite amongst Dubai's residents, especially the old timers. I visited their location in Karama, perhaps after a decade, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Paani Puri, Bhel Puri were fantastic! I recommend tourists as well as residents to try this restaurant to get a feel of typical indian food. It does look old and perhaps could do with some renovation work, but don't worry about the hygiene, they're well controlled by the health authorities. Caution: do not over indulge, the next morning can be difficult on the stomach!!

One of the best hidden pubs around. Great food, good ambiance and great place for f1 races. The only problem is getting there and finding parking. It's somewhere behind kfc/ nbd building on sheikh zayed road.
