Dillicious
Shop No. 7 Shamma Building 34 6 A Street
location in Karama
Posted 13 days ago
Whats the capital of India? Everyones knows its New Delhi and when I tell you New delhi is situated in the heart of Karama, Dubai. Would anyone believe me? That's right one can find now Delhi in Dubai as well. Located at the heart of Karama where one can find all kind of cuisines. Threshold for North Indian cuisines definitely best location spot on. North Indians love their Herbivorous food seriously. No where in the world can one see a variety of Vegan dishes be it in curries, snacks, chaats and kebabs, but none other then in the Capital of India. We Indians are well known for some of our outstanding Vegan Menu that are spicy yet relishing to bites. Play with Vegetables into any fritters or curries or blend it with spices Capital of India has got lots of tricks under their sleeves. Dillicious can be broken down into Delhi/Dilliwalla and Yummylicious. Brand name keeps up with the peppiness of delicious food served and Licious locks in for the way food are presented in attractivness. Interiors are traditional but modern Delhi feel with the painitings of famous landmarks of Delhi. One of the main attractions in the interiors was the Big Delhi TATA bus parked inside, at the front of the bus were the Traditional Indian hand woven furniture made of wood and Jute known as 'Chaarpayi' with textured and hand embroidery woven cushions, that gives the Dhaba wala look and feel. These Chaarpayi's are used for cozy sitting or just sit and eat during olden times in India. Ceilings had round lights that were in different colours of wheels. At the entrance, on left and right side have mini sculptures of Delhi beauty. Chaarpayi's outlook is carried on with the rest of the seating arrangements but made with heavy dute plastic and woooden frames. Every minute details are well taken care off. There is also Open Kitchen cooking which can be peeped through the glass for hygiene purposes. Signboards for Restroom were RINSE YOUR SINS AND THINKING CHAMBER logos. There were also lots of filmy posters dating back to 80's and 90's hung and wallpapers of Gold and Shimmer adorned. After being seated were served with their complimentary Papads and papad puris with spicy condiments along with mint chutney and tamarind chutney. These chutneys came in cute small glasses with the paintings of colorful auto rickshaws. Papads rolled into cones are the normal papads eaten alongwith rice but these were good to eat with chutneys. Puri papads which were flat topped with diced onions and cucumbers drizzled with yogurt and tamarind chutneys gave cooling effect. **HAVE TASTED BOTH VEGAN AND NON-VEGAN ** MOCK THAARA & THANDA GARAM ( MOCK TAILS & DRINKS ) Apple and Mixed Juice - Ordered by the kids but i loved them more. Its hard to get fresh apple juices in almost all restaurants that I have visited so far except in Juice shops. So was definitely delighted when it was served and also the fact it was freshly squeezed made it even more refreshing. Mixed juice had more of a watermelon flavour but not sure whether other fruit juices were in there but whatever it was also refreshing. One thing to be noted is that when the juices are not good enough I tend to go on for water but these juices made me hardly switch to water throughout the entire set of course meal. Strawberry Mojito - Mojitos are usually SODA/SPARKLING WATER as their base. With other flavours added in to get the refreshing effect. Strawberry and Lime juices were added in these and yes these have to be sweet and trust me they were so good as all were balanced very well. The trick for me is that Soda should not overpower as the rest of the flavors is not tasted after that so BALANCING is the key factor. Most of the Mojitos have tasted were sour which i just hated. SOUP GOSHT KDI MIRCH - Mutton soup simmered in Indian spices drizzled on top with lime juice, crushed black pepper and mint. One of the best rich mutton soup I ever had. This in itself is so whole some with all the right notes working in there. Highly recommend this soup as Winter is coming and Stamina ka Soup hain yain. CHATKARI (CHAAT STOP) POPEYE PAAJI KA FAVOURITE CHAAT - Spinach fried mixed in gram flour, corn pickle drizzled in yoghurt, mint and tamarind chutney. Crispiness of the spinach is sharp and goes so well with the main chaat flaovurs. Chaat was served in an Umbrella that took me to Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua song Of SHree 420 (1955). Loved the presentation which had an upper deck of diced onions in a small bowl. Delhites love onions and green chilies. PAANI POORI - Dilli wala Gol gappa served in ferris wheel with testube spicy mint water. 5 wheels wherein 3 wheels consisted of 2 hollow pooris each and in the 4th wheel was the tamarind chutney and in the 5th wheel was the chick peas, onion and potatoes (chaat masala). Marvelous sight as well quantity was super good for a crazy gol gappa fan. STARTERS KARARA BHATTI (PANEER TIKKA) - Crispy marinated Paneer (cottage cheese) with breadcrumbs grilled in bhatti (kadai pan/pot). These are tossed in onions, tomatoes, capsicum and frehs herbs. For my love of paneer i ordered and also anything in crispy form is always my favourite. Its not easy to get the crispiness but once got its out of the world to crunch and chew. since KEBABS KUKKAD WINGS - Chicken wings marinated in a yoghurt base with exotic spices and preserved overnight. Grilled to perfection with all the succulent juicy spices oozing in one bite, nothing can go wrong after this. Since its my kids favourite and they loved it every bite and they finished it off altogether. Served in sizzler too so can eat hot or when warm. MURGH ALSOONI KEBAB - Chunks of chicken coated with egg yolk and mildly flavoured with white pepper and saffaron. These are then cooked in charcoal. It was presented in a mettalic jar vessel with chicken skewers of 3. Tasted yum and also the chicken were tenderly cooked and so softly melted in the mouth. TANDOORI JHEENGA - Prawns preserved overnight with yohurt base and exotic spices. These are char grilled and the prawns were pretty huge which made it all worthwhile to munch. Seafood lover heaven which are not that spicy yet bursting with flavours. These were served again in a izzler pan either have it hot or warm which compliments with the mint chutney. MAIN COURSE B.C - Classic Butter Chicken - Butten chicken needs no introduction. Its a family favourite just because its one of the non spiciest curries yet rich in dairy and butter products. Base is totalluy tomato gravy and chicken thats marinated overnight with tandoori spices. This gravy compliments with the naan. Personally this gravy sets in my profound love for Delhi curries. Outstanding and LaJawab wala curry sered in a warm pot surrounded by a lot of green veggies like cucumber and lettuces. VEGETABLE KOLHAPURI - Assortment of fresh green veggies in a hot and spicy gravy tempered with curry leaves and crust pappads. Yeah i did not get that of a spicy flavour in the curry, it was more sweet. But yet the gravy was tremendously delicious with all the peppy veggies. Can give kiddies if they are not too much into spicy category. BANJARA GOSHT - Meat curry with garlic, cloves, whole condiments and red onion cooked in a slow fire. Yes and this was definitely the STAR. All the spices were marinated with slow cooking process that mutton chunks with bones were cooked to perfection (not too soft and not too rubbery). Loved thethick curry spices bombed with all the flavours in there. These were served in medium sized jar vessels but yet keeping it warm under the vessel. PUNJABI LOVE (DESSERTS) PISTA SHAHI KULFI - Milk based desserts are my favourites. Kulfi is more of a cream based texture and dense. Love that base itself and am happy Dillicious served the best kulfi. All he flovours of pistawas not overpowering and neither the milky cream. topped with sliced lmonds nothing can go wrong. RASMALAI - Cottage cheese soaked in rich thick cream flavoured with cardamom and Saffron. More of a cold dessert served here but i prefer it warm nonetheless its all worth it. Any Northi Mithais has to have saffaron its the key ingredient and milk. LOVE - The quantities of each of the dish in the menu were humongous which can be shared 2 or 3 people. Dilli wala ka heart bahut hi baddaa hain. Being a Gastro girl loved how each of the victuals were presented superb and yet the quantity was huge. Every food that i tasted were bombed with Delishness. Loved how the names of the menu were genuine to the culinary strength of gourmet cities like Amritsar, Patiala, Lahore, Peshwar, Lucknow and Old Delhi. Prsented as well in that way. LOATHE - Packaging is a big zero as whatever i have oredered i tell them to parcel when the quantity is lots or here i ordered too much. Wish they give more importance to how it is parceled out. I guess nobody takes parcel as the food will be finished from there itself . The lid of all the packaging was the problem which was not sealed well.

Wok Boyz (Trade Center)
Al Durrah Tower Sheikh Zayed Road
location in Trade Center
Posted over 2 months ago
Earlier it was hard to find Fast Food outlets with a healthier version, but Wok Boyz changed all that. Located at in the Heart of Dubai, right opposite of Crescent Moon Tower is the right place to munch the Wokie Noodles and Appetizers while the Winter weather sets in. Homiez style live cooking, Cozy and comfy sitting area with Warm Asian Street food, What can Possibly go wrong here while Westlife music is the Background score? These are what attracted me on a very personal note. 90''s kids are going to love this funky area with the most Instagrammable Wall of Dubai city. Artist who did this huge painiting desreves a lot of accolades as he/she had captured Dubai city life with the Asian fusion twist. Trust me while I was muching in the noodles I was admiring the Wall painting. Buzzing area in Sheikh Zayed Road is the Wok Boyz which also gives a picture perfect view of the Burj Khalifa as well.   SOUP TOM YUM SOUP (VEG) - In Dubai, its hard to find a good Tom Yum Soup, which is really defines the best healthiest soup I love the most. Herbal with all distinctive flavours that with one sip soothes when one is ill and do not have appetite for heavy food (personal experience). Soup is not that spicy but subtle. Though it has fish sauce (prawn version) added but the over powering smell and taste is the Lemon grass.   APPETIZERS/ STARTERS  Veg Spring Rolls - Lip-smacking flavours at the very first bite. Filling was a BOMB, crunchy and healthiest. I dont know but I did not feel i was having a veg spring roll as it was popping with authentic Thai flavours. Sauce that came along was the Sweet and Sour sauce that were Divine. Prawn Tempura - Prawns used were fresh and medium sized ones. Had a lot of prawn tempuras in dubai but i definitely loved Wok Boy Tempura. Batter was done was done so right  with thin layer coating done on the prawns. Chilli and Soy Sauce to be dipped had subtle soy which i was happy it was not over powering. Sauce measurements were so correctly done.  Spicy Korean Wings - Star of the Show was this Appetizer. Wings tossed in a lot of flavours dont compliment well. But when these wings are tossed in Asian sauces it does the trick. Another note is the wings should not be deep fried which sucks. Wings are best when its baked where all marination are oozing and tossed into the sauces does the Trick. Exactly what i got from Wok Boyz. Spicy Korean sauce was too good which my kids loved. Family Favourite.   WOKIE BOYZIE NOODLES (MAIN) Here the process goes like this : 1) Choose the Wok Base [ type of noodles, rice, Quinoa (healthy) or Mixed Vegetables] 2) Choose Proteins (chicken, beef, prawns, Sausage or Tofu) 3) Choose Vegetables ( Broccoli, Pineapple, Baby corn, Sweet corn, Carrots, Mushrooms, Etc ) 4) Choose Sauce to be tossed in  5) Choose what to be topped up with ( extra kick in )  Soba Noodles - Here I chose my base  as Soba noodles which was pretty new to be  as it was in grey color noodles and thin Japanese Noodles. Chose prawns as proteins with mixed peppers and corn as my veggies tossed in Wok Boyz Special Sauce ( Chilli Basil suace tossed in garlic ). Topped it up with peanuts for the enhanced kick in palate. Oh Boy relish to dig in.    Egg Noodles - Round Chinese Noodles as my base tossed in beef slices and mixed up with Mixed peppers and pineapple. Chose Ganganam style sauce which was Korean  mildly spicy and sweet topped up with peanurs. This was family favourite as it had the correct texture, beef was cooked well and sauce was very peppy.  Udon Noodles - Thick wheat flour noodles added in chicken as proteins. Mixed with carrots and Sweet corn tossed in Japanese sizzle (teriyaki sweet soy sauce) and topped with corriander. This sauce isvery good for kids who generally does not like spiced up food. But for adults its good to have when appetite is very low just to add in lots of energy and who also does not like complicated sauces.  DRINKS  Coconut Water - To freshen and for thirst quench best drink is the Coconut water. Fresh and not very sweet goes well along with the wokie menu.   Restaurant is very good at their portions and quantity. Prices are reasonable. Best Wok dishes and menu is very simple (love simple menus and their dishes are bombastic in taste) . Appetizers are good to eat and lip-smacking and mouth watering. Menu takes care of all types of aged people whether it be young, middle or aged. their website is  also easy to navigate and order online.

Located at Level 2, inside Reel Cinemas, Opposite of Food Court. Ambience is Good Service and Staffs are Quick and Informative. Love the concept of Dry Ice creating Ice-cream at Live Form. Never Ever get tired of that because smell of Dry Ice is so soothing like Smelling the SNOW! Ordered Rose Ice-Cream with add-ons of Ferraro Rocher, Waffer Roll Sticks and Fudgy & Warm Chocolate Drizzle. Wow this was a new flavour and yeah any dessert in Rose syrup always enhances the flavour. Really loved rose ice-cream where into vanilla ice-cream rose syrup is added. More than the ice-creams wait for it all melt together resulting in awesome mikshakes drink. Bit over pricey ice-creams but flavourful.

Kaftan (La Mer)
Shop S 19 South La Mer Jumeirah Beach Road
location in Jumeirah

Located of South side of La Mer, Jumeirah 1. Ambience is FANTABOLOUS Service and Staffs were Quick and Very Informative. What to say when Fancy Restaurants open up at La Mer there is always the soothing effect of Dining. One such Restaurant is Kaftan situated next to the Beach Views and Breezy Weather one cannot go wrong with Dining inside. Kaftan is a Belted Long Tunic worn by the Men and Women alike during Ottoman times. Keeping with that tradition interiors had Kaftan arts and pictures. Theres a Long seating Made of Marble Dining table with one end of Olive Tree and below it Mini Kaftan Statue, one of my favourite spot in Kaftan. Spacious, Bright and Prestiogious culture revolving around the restaurant, definitely can be mistaken to be in Turkey (psst, after dining here I just want to go to Turkey! Hospitality can be given 10/10 because just did not feel was in a Restaurant but at Home. Lets talk about the Food. Since gone for Breakfast Cum Lunch the list will be endless. Seated were served with Turkish tea, personally this is my favourite, brewing is done perfectly. BREAKFAST Humus Bayildi - On a bed of fresh humus with Basil, tomatoes and Pine Nuts Salsa laid the Sunny side-up Egg . Egg were the yolk was oozy and runny while the white was cooked perfectly. Pine nuts salsa combo made the whole Egg so enriched with flavours and to kick in spicy roasted whole chilli. Firin Peynir Kizartma - Home-made baguette slices topped with eggs, parsley batter and lots of cheese. Very soft and easy to chew baguette yet gooey cheesy. Pacanga Boregi - Triangle shaped flaky medium samosa filled with beef pastrami, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, parsley and capsicum. One of the best samosa filling and soothing to taste buds. Sef’in Simit’i - Simit bread is very famous breakfast bread topped with seasme seeds and circular shape and hollow in between. Here the Simit was given with enriched filling in the hollow area. Filling had sunny side-up egg along with 100% turkish beef soujouk and lots of gooey cheddar cheese. 2nd favourite in the breakfast section. LUNCH Started off with Turkish Mocktail called Demirhindi. Serbeti. Tamarind juice, quintessentially Ottoman recipe, made from 41 different spices and herbs. Trust me very very Refreshing Drink. HOT MEZZE Etli Hummus - On a bed of Hummus laid the lamb meat and pine nuts. All time favourite Hummus of mine. Icli Kofte - Bulgur Rice patties filled with minced meat and walnuts coated with crushed pistachio. First time trying kofta made out if Bulgur wheat had the dietary fibre taste and also good heart health. Sigara Boregi - Crispy turkish cheese rolls stuffed with Turkish cheese and chopped parsley. Gave a totally spring rolls filled with cheese. Good snack bites. Kalamar Kizartma - Deep fried Calamari rings served with tomato sauce. Crispy and lip-smacking Calamari. Sucuk Izgara - Char-grilled 100% turkish beef Soujouk. Definitely had the Sausage taste in a good beefy way. Peynir Kizartma - Cheesy snacks where the Brie cheese pan fried topped with home-made blackberry Sauce. Yes one bite it had very ksweety effect but was not possible that there was cheese coated with flour and deep fried. Loved this! Hot mezze was all served in small qunatities to get the taste of authentic turkish starters. MAIN COURSE Sultan Ibrahim - Oh Boy, this was Humongous Ibrahimis were deep fried and served on a bed of all the veggies roasted. Corn on the cob, roasted potato wedges, whole onion roasted, cauliflower roasted, baby potatoes roasted and Aubergine roasted inclusive on the bed of Red Mayonnaise. Eye-catcher fish menu and Healthy Combo. Tuz Furinda Kuzu Incik - Show-stopper Dish of the Day. Live demo wherein lamb shank was baked in a salt crust with fire all burning around. Basically to break open the salt crust requires a hammer and culinary tool Tong to pick the tender lamb. Served with these were the Eggplant puree. Puree tasted so much like Hareesa, boiled ground-wheat mixed with meat or poultry, but i loved this a lot. Eggplant puree is something i am going to try out for my Ramadan Iftar Recipe. Dish was soo tender, soft and melted into the mouth. DESSERT Helva - Turkish Semolina sauteed in organic butter infused by roasted pine nuts topped with organic Turkish Ice-Cream and lots and lots of crushed pistachios. Nutty helva was soft and melted into the mouth. Light and greenish in color looked so earthy. Antolian Dishes captured from the Ottoman times are so healthy, dietary conscious and organic fresh ingredients infused. Each dish could be eaten by atleast 3 or 4 people, tells a lot about sharing the food in Quantitative form. Kids are also pampered with their favourite fresh juices and sweet freshly baked brown buns all drizzled with Honey and lots and lots of Almonds. Observed that none of the dishes are ever plain there is always room for nuts ingredients, which by the way i loved in all my dishes. After so many years had lot of pine nuts. Pine nuts are known for suppressing diets, boost energy, Reduce Heart Disease, Anti-Aging Antioxidants and Vision Health. An Eye-Opener for me that other than Pide/Pizzas Turkish Cuisine extends to a variety of menus that are SUPER DUPER LIP-SMACKING, MOUTH-WATERING AND YUMMYLICIOUS. Breakfast Menu are to go for. Such a Hearty Breakfast i have never Had For A While. Best part was I HATE EGGS but the ingredients used to combine with the Egg were so over-powering literally i forgot was having Eggs. Special THANKS to Arzu who took total care in making sure all the dishes were served on the table on time and Her Hospitality had no Boundaries.

Located at Level 2, Food Court, Dubai Marina Mall. Ambience is Very Good Service and Staffs were very Quick and Informative. Want to taste the Berlin and Chicago Street Food, definitely give a try to Doner & Gyros. Doner originates from turkey and Gyros originates from Greece. Both Combined together with a twist at taste of Berlin and Chicago. Doner or Gyros means Meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie while Doner is thinly sliced, Gyros are sliced in medium size. Doner & Gyros in Dubai Marina Mall is well equipped and live counters to see what goes inside the Pita bread. Added bonus is that all the vegetables are fresh, quality ingredients and authentic to taste. Ordered ever famous Berlin Beef Doner came as a Combo with soft drink and Skin-in French fries. Waffle designed Crispy flat bread were piled with onion, lettuce, red cabbages and tomatoes mixed in relishing sauce packed with the beef doner. What i Loved is how soft the flat bread was without hurting on chewing and thinly sliced beef gave it the much added finishing touch. Kids will definitely love this Sandwich as it will not affect their chewing or grinding ability with Ease. Talk about the French fries which were so crispy and FRESH. Ordered Homestyle Wings Platter came with a Combo of either soft drink or juice. Consists of 6 Juicy and tender wings along with Carrot and Celery sticks, French fries spiced and BBQ Sauce. Atomic is one of the spiciest sauce which definitely had to be eaten along with Ranch Dip and Drink lots and lots of Pepsi or any Juice. Mango habanero had mango flavour yet subtle sauce. Love both the Sauces mixed as I am more on the Spicy side i thoroughly enjoyed. Loaded Fries was the added bonus where the fries which were medium thick but yet cripsy topped hot cheese sauce, sour cream, crispy bacons and chives.   Located at Ahmad Ramzaa Jumaa Mosque, Al Satwa Ambience is Ok Service and Staffs are Ok and Informative. Had come a couple of times and always their food tasted amazing, varieties are good and their Tea is one of the best for sipping. Ordered Mix Grill, Butter Chicken and Porotta. Butter Chicken were authentic and tasty. Porotta was oily and perfect. Disappointment was in Mix Grill though by Quantity was good enough for 2 people and varieties of grils were also good the Lamb and mutton were not cooked well. Dont know whether we went late so it was not cooked well which we could not chew at all. In Mix grill my favourites are the Lamb chops but could not enjoy at all. After complaining thd management did reduce the bill for Mix Grill so all FORGIVEN. But the rest like chicken grill, kebabs and tandoori chickens were lip-smacking and tasty. On the Drinks had Metro Special and Avocado. These were delish and thirst wrenching drinks. Highly recommend Metro special so healthy, whipping and Mangolicious. Avocado was super smoothie and honey flavoured.

But it took good 15 minutes to come to the table while all those who ordered after Us for Pizza were given within 5 or 10 minutes maximum. Does it take this looong to have the Buffalo wings grilled or fried! Anyways the Buffalo Wings still tasted good with the Marinara Sauce which was soo spicy and sip the McTea made it all worthwhile. Please speed up grlling or frying the wings and also the quantity of wings. Why cut the wings into half when everywhere the wings are served on the whole. Will come again to try out the Pizzas In Shaa Allah !

Ambience - Awesome Service and Staffs are Quick and Informative. Ordered 3 pcs Chicken Combo. Normally with this combo they give cookies but not all like that side. But this time they gave option to choose our own 2 sides alongwith the 3 chicken pieces. Sides included corn, rice, coleslaw, bun and Mashed Potato. Chose coleslaw and bun. Bun cut into half was toasted which was warm. Coleslaw quantity was good enough for 3 or 2 people which meant there were lots. French Fries was crispy but with popeyes flavours again lots in quantity. Chicken i wish it was hot which maybe had i told while ordering they would have done that. All in all it was a good experience and price wise it was reasonable alongwith the tax and keep the bill as for the next order they give 10% off!

Located at Ground floor opposite of Centerpoint, Mall of the Emirates. Ambience is good Service and Staffs are Quick and Informative. For a quick dessert fix my all time favourite stop is the Baskin Robbins. Introduced new way of eating Sundae IceCream in a box shaped or square shaped cone. At first glimpse one might mistaken it as Waffle but while digging in its just Cone square shaped. One scoop of ones favourite ice-cream drizzled with fudgy warm chocolate and topped with whipped cream, cherry and almond pieces.

Located at Lower Ground Level, Dubai MAll Love anything thats fresh and smell of being baked in the Oven, and EATALY is engrossed with those smells of Italian freshness. Having been to Italy there were lot of restaurants which were all around the corner of Tourist Attractions. One can mistake it to belong to the buildings as there is no Hyped restaurant feelings like one can get from here but its all done by the baking smell one can get from the other corner of the street. Enter into the Pizza cum gelato cum coffee cum Pasta restaurants, there is no restaurant but home-coming feeling, this vibe makes the extra kick to enjoy every delicacy at every bite. EATALY just does this. Every corner had the italian touch. The restaurant is huge and categorised so well one cannot miss out any. Starting from left, Nutella section where crepes and waffles with chocolates all drizzled on top. Coffee section for all the italian Espressos and Affagatos. Pizza section where all baked from Scratch and fresh. Fresh juices section where all kinds of fruits are displayed one can pick&choose and all squeezed into fresh juices without any Additives. Pasta section again made from scratch where raviolis and natural colored Pastas cooked. Dine-in section where all ordered are eaten out and ofcourse separate section for the Steaks and Butchery. As one keeps going comes the Bake-Heaven and Kitchen Utensils made so simple yet Techy section. Gelato cum Ice-Cream section Wow Gelatos with Pistachio toppings. Patisseries section have the varied collection but yet the famous Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. In the middle one can get Venchi1878 chocolates and chocolate Bars. Pure Heaven All-in-one Store of Italy. Italian vibes for REAL!

More then wholesome meal i love having tea/snack/juice breaks. Located in Mall of the Emirates, 2nd floor. The interiors were spot-on jordanian. Loved their old tv fashioned projector. Ordered Osmaliyat Al Wardh from desserts section. Presentation on the plate was good. It was difficult to eat the kunafa as it was fried and breaking all over. Rose flavour ice-cream and rose syrup alongwith fried kunafa was good combination. Disappointed no cheese/akawi cheese. For juice ordered cocktail Avocado with Ishta. Disappointed with the cocktail since it did not contain honey and very thick texture. Service was good.

Located in THE VILLAGE, Dubai Mall. The interiors were modern and sophisticated. "M" logo stressed in their cutlery. Menu was Hi-Technology, browse through I-pad. Cuisine - Mediterranean. Hospitality and Service - Excellent. First they served chickpeas soaked in flavor water, zaatar and roti/naan (was expecting hummous and toom). Main course ordered Milas Shiwa which is a a choice of 3 skewers (chicken, lamb and mutton) alongwith french fries, arayees and fresh yoghurt. Disappointed with chicken skewer which did not have the correct spices marinated well. Dont understand why they did not serve garlic paste/toom. Frenh fries and milas arayees was perfect. Qantity was very less, but it was over-priced. Desserts had Shubeik Lubeik. Loved the dessert name. Consisted of brownie, salted caramel and kulfi ice-cream. It was presented in a tea-pot which had dry ice coming out. Felt like a Genie in a Magic Lamp. Molecular Gastronomy. Kulfi ice-cream was yummy. Brownie was a disappointment as it became very hard bcause of dry ice. Wish there was more of Salted caramel drizzled. After the wholesome meal, they came with Milas perfumes to be tested. Loved the smell for both Male and female.

This is my second visit. Decided to celebrate mine and daughters birthday here. Went around at 12 a.m. Even at this time place was crowded. Their belgian triple oozing chocolate is to die for. The best Dessert station after wholesome meal. Service is ever-ready, pleasant and helpful. Ordered this time Chocolate fondant cake alongwith Vanilla Ice-Cream. Pure heaven and a treat to the tummy. After cutting down the cake the topped melted belgian chocolate and chocolate inside was oozing like a Valley. Triple Chocolate Crêpe for a lighter dessert. Their crêpe is a must-try topped with three kinds of belgian chocolate is a must-try. Whover has a sweet tooth for chocolate definitely go for this outlet. Located opposite of Sunset Mall, next Reem Al Bawadi. Located in JBR, JUMEIRAH 3. The interiors super romantic claded in HOT RED. Trust me This is PURE HEAVEN for all Dessert Lovers. Went there after a light dinner. Hospitality and Service - OK. Ordered Triple Chocolate Crèpe with A Scoop of Vanila Ice-Cream. Belgian Chocolate in triple kinds is purely Melting and Surfing in the Sea. Crèpe was cooked perfectly not so soft and not so Hard. Rmantic Couples recommend this place a lot. Suggestion - Please open more branches in Barsha or Mall of the Emirates. People who reside in these areas its a Loongg drive when we just want to eat oozinng chocolates in Bliss. Ingredients like milk, vanilla or any other flavours chosen are put in a mixing bowl under DRY ICE METHOD in front of your eyes. It takes just 5 mins for ice-cream to be done/created. I prefer this creamy and moist texture ice-cream then certain gelatos. Ordered Lotus Experiment. Loved the fresh waffles, organic base ice-cream and topped with Lotus Biscoff. Quantity served for medium could be eaten by 2 people. For Kids this should be perfect Healthy Ice-Cream.

Hospitality and Service - Excellent, Ever-friendly even to kids. My all time favourite is the spicy BBQ chicken combo. The BBQ spice marinated is well-done. I am not a big fan of BBQ but Taza always has cooked it Perfecto. The pita bread/khuboos is soft and easy to swallow when Hot. The hummus is spicy and onionised, very different from normal taste, which gives the kick alongwith Pita bread. The toom is perfect taste not being too salty, garlicy and soury. Everytime i feel super hungry, this is food that i eat. They serve until 1 or 2 am.

Spice Klub
Opposite Sharaf DG Kuwait Road Mankhool
location in Bur Dubai
Posted over 6 months ago
Located Opposite of Aster Hospital, Near Sharaf DG, Kuwait Street. Mankhool. Ambience is Fanatabolous. Service and Staff are Quick and Very Informative. As one enters into the restaurant will be amazed at one side by the huge Polychromatic indian design engraved on the wall which reminded of Rangoli patterns and other wall had Geometric threads connected like a web, Golden Temple painting hung at the back. The ceiling are covered by bicycle wheels Chandeliers and Painted Kites all finished off with Copper touches. Swing long chairs, cushions adorned with paintings and dialogues are the other plus points for positive vibes or for food photographers to be used for props. Took my seat in the middle of the Rangoli design which actually gave Excellent pictures with colourful background. Lets enter to the Avant Garde Journey at Vegan Style Started off with the drinks that can be Eaten. Mango on the Rocks - Brought in spherical beaker with handle contained mango pulps flash freezed in Liquid Nitrogen that gives the Rocky texture of Popcorn shapes wherein Warm Mango Juice is drizzled all over. Warm mango makes the rocky texture soft chunks. Essence of fresh Mango does its wonders. Ice Sphere - Brought in Mini Glass Bottom had small pieces of kiwi and grapes with fruit syrup and on top was the ball of ice injected with orange and Lychee flavour. Ball of ice is hammered and soda is splashed which after mixinig gives in sharp tangy and sweet tastes. Coconut with Rose Caviar - Brought in spherical beaker contained coconut chunks which was in ice shavings topped with Rose Caviar. This definitely could not be drunk until all of the coconut ice melted so had to eat. What made the coconut iced was the liquid nitrogen underneath. Seasonal Fruit Lassi - Served in 6 flavours on a Soup Spoon shaped alongwith dairy foam like Black Currant, Pineapple, Peach Apricot, Strawberry, Mango and Rose. Drink in one shot bursts with all the seasonal fruit flavours. Appetisers Pani Puri Shots - Cylinderical testubes contained the Spicy water in a glass of liquid nitrogen, Meetha pani in syringe, bowl of sprouts and potatoes and gol gappa puris. Sheer enjoyment to eat pani puri like laboratory experiments. Nanza - Triangle shaped naan with pizza style topping of cottage cheese and spicy flavour sauces. Mushroom Spinach Shaslik - Tri-colored/flavoured mushroom stuffed with Spinach and Cheese. Tikka/Red flavour Mushroom kebab, Saffron/Yellow flavoured Mushroom Kebab and Hariyali/Green flavoured Mushroom Kebab. Vada Pav - Mini Square buns slit in the middle alongwith mint chutney, Meetha pani, mini besan crispy balls, edible mini triangle plastics of spicy mix powder and warm creamy texture fondue. Best and yummiest vada pav i ever had. Pav Bhaji - Fondue experience wherein the square shape small bun pieces shallow fried in butter served alongwith a bowl of mixed vegetable ( bhaji ). To keep the bhaji warm a candle is lit underneath. Pick the small pieces of bun dip in bhaji and have western style. Main Courses Paneer Tikka Masala and 2 Naan & 1 Roti - Marinated Paneer grilled cooked in a thick spicy tomato gravy. Curry with tanginess tickles the taste bud but the Paneer softens all the flavours. It goes well with the 3 Naans. Basic Naan which is the Garlic Butter Naan were soo soft and melt into the mouth. Second was the Sundried Tomato & Black Olive Naan, the varied naan firts time trying it but yes it tasted yummier then the Garlic Naan. Third was the Gluten-free Roti. Compared to the other Naan this was not my favourite as it was Hard and taste-wise had the healthier version which i believe lot of diet restricted people will love it. Vegetable Dum Biryani & Anardana Black Salt - Claypot Vegetable biryani did not feel it was Vegetarian as it had all the flavours of Authentic Biryani and masala cooked to perfection. Raita was the highlight Anardana Black Salt. Yoghurt with lots and lots of Pomegrantes and Black Salt which had strong salty flavour but when mixed with Biryani made the Salt super silent. Desserts Old School Lollies - Who does not love drawing when food involves this then nothing can go more exciting. Instant lollies just made possible by Liquid Nitrogen where one can draw any designs and let it set on either for just 5 minutes and Lick and Enjoy. Chocolate & Bournvita flavour to gives borders and Kesar & Malai for filling in gaps. Bring out the Artist and Kid with this Kulfi Lollies. Volcano - Was so excited in seeing the presentation that i dont recall what Mr.Terence said. To keep the lava popping out from the Chocolate Mousse Volcano Keasr & Malai again with the help of Liquid Nitrogen was injected in the middle and flooded all over the chocolate sandbed and Cigar Chocolates and Yes there was the Peru Jelly stem. I loved the chocolate Mousse again one of the best i ever Had. SpiceKlub takes LIQUID NITROGEN to the Advanced Level. Theaterical Drama, Excitement and Keeping up with the Flavours, Richness and Authenticity were the pivotal speciality. Veggies Heaven on Board. I personally believe when the interiors are superb always enhances the food flavours and tastesbuds. True to that Spiceklub just did not Disappoint. Note : Please do get in touch with Mr.Terence who can guide throughout the thrilling food details about each Platter in the Menu.

Just love this appetizer. Battered Shrimps are done crispy without any sogging of the Mayonnise, Sriracha Sauce blended. Goes well with the Pepsi. Main course ordered P.F.Chang's Fried Rice. Wok-fried rice tasted the crunchines of the Rice mixed with eggs, scallions and soy. Rice was cooked perfectly. For the price mentioned the quantity was worth it. Have tried dynamite shrimps at other places but the shrimp quantity in P.F.Changs is a bliss. Even fried Rice was lots in Quantity. Happy family with a Happy Tummy

Just like perfect blended coffee even Teas have to be blended perfectly only then the taste of Karak juices in. Logma has the BEST home-made feel Karak Tea. Pizza was accompanied with Lime Cream Sauce which when got Super Spicy, had the dipping calmed the Taste Senses. Loved this Dip. Desserts - Banana Chocolate Brownie. By presentation it was a DELIGHT. But by tasting was disappointed. Brownie was not moist and warm. Brownies are normally Sweet but this was not. Chocolate Sauce was super Bitter which I was disappointed. Every table reserved has the view of Business bay view inclusive of Burj Khalifa and of Sheikh Zayed Road and if one goes to the restroom view of Dubai Water Canal. Love to eat in any restaurant with a view which actually calm the nerves and food tastes far yummiest (take my word on that). Had gone for and Express Lunch.   Located at Ground floor at Dubai Festival City Mall. Ambience is Awesome Service and Staff were Quick and Grounded. Dubai is soo Good that they have decided to bring a part of JAPAN as well not just by cusine but by character and mannerism. If we watch Japenese movies one must have witnessed how grounded and grateful when it comes to customs and charming and ever bowing to people. Well never thought in a million years i would be able to witness that direct confrontation. After seeing those my kids wanted to learn Japenese Language and they did learn Arigato and Konnichiwa. Charmed and Awestruck by the Japenese Interiors which spoke so loud about calmness, peace and tranqulity. Japenese Curtain, plants painting and Wooden furniture finishes. Went for sipping Matcha and try their famous Patisserie. Matcha Latte is Super light and yet creamy compared to Coffee. It has strong flavour but without hurting tastebuds. Motomachi Cheesecake/ Japenese Cheesecake. Tasted like Pancake but sometimes pancake can be little hard and not very moist. This cheesecake has flavour of basic butter cake but soft, light- airy and so easily melts in mouth when combines with whipping cream. Served with Rusk type biscuit super crispy. Always nice when staffs are super friendly especially to kids which calms down any Oarents stress if eating in a restaurant. Though i did not try othr dishes fron the menu but i would highly recommend for families where there is also outside seating arrangements.

Yummiest beef chilli dry i ever had. Yes again it was spicy but very lip-smacking. Also ordered Chicken Cafreal yet another Goan delicacy as the curry alongwith Hot Naan.   Located at Al Zomorodah Building, Al Karama. THIS REVIEW ENTIRELY BASED ON FAMILY WITH KIDS. Ambience is OK Service and Staff - Quick and Informative. Loved Ipad Menus. Trendy and Classy. It being a purely Sheesha lounge was relieved that there were separate sitting for Family with kids. It would have been a good idea that they had accomdated more seating areas for family and the sheesha lounge more of an outdoor activity. So my rating 3.5 When it comes to food presentation was superb and taste was lip-smacking. Definitely would give on that basis 4.5. Appetisers went for Mini Trio Bun Sliders. Consisting of tri-color buns and also the filling were tri. Creole Spiced bun had nuggets chicken filling which was normal bun. Cream/Off-white bun which was steamed had Chicken Tikka stuffing. Blackened Seasme bun had chicken dumpling stuffing. These were served alongwith Hot Garlic fries. Each bun had its own delectability. Garlic fires were new to taste and yet crispy. As i love Prawns for main course tried the Tiger Prawn Chimichuri and Fish Amritsari with a Twist. Chimichuri presentation was Hanging Paratta served with Green Jambo prawns, roasted cashew gravy and potato filled pappad roll. Loved the cashew curry of creamy texture which went so well with Swiss roll Paratta that were soft and yet crunchy. Pappad had bhaji potato filling never felt that i was crunching on pappad more like chaat kick. Fish Amritsari used white fish fillet which were indian spiced and fried was laying on a bed of Curry batter and Masala vermicelli. Vermicelli was very light spiced up and kicked the taste buds perfectly. This innovation clubbed very well. Creole Spiced potato were crispy and its dips. Presentation was Made in Heaven Fish. For desserts went for Devils Island. Strawberry cake filled Blood Bleeding Broken Heart laying on a bed of Choco Walnut White Trifle, Strawberrys, Blueberry, Grapes and Pepper Rainbow Pearls. Live performance with nitrogen smoke, burning the Heart with blow torch to give warm effect and drizzling with Chocolate lava liquid. Pure Delight to witness and devilish kick in Tummy. Enjoyed the experience and Appetizing. Because of presentation dont feel Quantity for 1 person good enough but sharing not possible.

One of the best staffs even one does not know about the food to order can enquire and they give all the information about each dish how its cooked. As we sat down serves us with prawn crackers with 3 dippings and my favourite was the red pickle sauce which was the spicest. Ordered Mix seafood soup. The soup was ok. Ordered Thai Prawns Black pepper stir fry. Prawns were cooked well and was very fresh enhancing the stir fry. All the right sauces and soya flavour kicked in too. Ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles. This was the tastiest Hakka noodles i had. All the vegetables and chicken mixed were fresh and lip- smacking. Prices are reasonable and Quantity is huge. Would advise to go and have their food when super hungry!

Ordered for Appetisers Steamed Edamame which was roasted and pan-fried in LemonGrass Galangal and Olek sauce. Spicy and yet appetising. Also from starters ordered Malaysian Beef Satay where minced beef marinated and cooked in Balineses Sauce. Beef was tender, Juicy and yet Spicy. Ordered from Main Course Claypot Chicken with Rice. Rice was tossed with vegetable oyster sauce, shitake, enoki mushrooms and kale. Rich in flavour, Healthy and yet wholesome. For desserts ordered Vietnamese Style Chocolate and Coffee Pots Asia Light. Layered by chocolate mixed with Creme Fraiche, Chocolate Chips and Berries. There is the bitternes of Chcolate chips which is soothed by the Creme Fraiche Chocolate. An All-in-one East Asian cuisine for Lunch is worth a try once in a while when hunger strikes.

Loacted at Kite Beach, Umm Suqeim, which is actually at the middle of the Humongous Beach. Love Food Truck concept, better then street kiosks. Ambience is just fantabolous and Service is Perfect. Over-crowded place enjoyed by "People at all Ages". Perfect for chating as well as hogging on-the-go. Ordered the HOOK serves 2. To die for Burger. Wagyu beef that has the perfect chew, not so soft and not so hard. Sandwiched in butter bun are Lettuce, Jalapeno, melted cheese and Special Hook sauce. Combo with it the classice style French fries just as crispy as it can get. After all done ordered their ever famous Lotus Softie. Pure Heaven - Milky ice-cream drizzled with Lotus spread and Lotus biscoff crumbles. Though its a bit pricey but Quality wise all worth it. Its very difficult to Share as each of menu items are YUMMYLICIOUS ????

Located Sheraton Dubai, Mall of the Emirates, Level 5, Barsha 1. Ambience and Service are Fantabolous. Staffs were very informative and well-behaved. Interiors had splash of warm sky blue and white finishings. The restaurant is quite huge with seating arrangements in the open air where one can have view of whole of Barsha and Burj Al Arab while sipping the turkish tea and their famous desserts or even Raki. Once seated they do serve their compliment freshly baked khuboos which one bite and it melts (so soft). Had gone for lunch ordered from Hot Mezze Sote Karides (Sauteed Prawns). Fresh Tomato Gravy cooked in olive oil and fresh garlic sauteed prawns. Ordered Kusbasi Pide which is basically turkish pizza. This one was stuffed with pepper and beef. Peppered beef was soo succulent and juicy. Served along with 2 dippings one which was cucumber and mint raita (Cacik) and tomato chilli dipping. All the flavours had the right kick. Its a must to have the turkish tea and their Baklava Çesitleri ( baklava collection). Baklava were not that sweet neither rough. It just melts and also try the green baklava which was out of the world served alongwith Dondurma (turkish ice-cream) also known as Maras Ice-Cream.

Bombay Bungalow
The Beach Mall North Parking Unit 2301
location in Jumeirah Beach Residence
Posted over a year ago
Located at Jumeirah Beach Residence 1, The Beach. Ambience was Excellent Service and Staff were quick, informative and timely. Interiors were Dining at Palace Aura. Historic, Aqua and yet chic settings. Every corner had Maharaja Arts and midas touch. Antiques like old telephone, radio box, flower pots, clock towers, chest of drawers and magic carpet! Very intricate and intriguing. Ordered Diwali Set menu At appetisers there were Lentil Soup, Bungalow Salad and Cardomom Flavoured Lassi were served first. Soup as the name suggests were rich in dal and liquid flavoured. Salad had the Bungalow dressing with all the healthy vegetables like asparagus, beetroot, kale, raddish, lettuce, mini samosa with no filling and Carrots. Lassi was sweet, milky and thirst-quencher refresher. Next in starters were the Vegetable Samosas, Harissa Chicken Tikka and Hariyali Fish Tikka served with the Spicy mint chutney complemented very well. Favourites for the kids were Harissa Chicken tikka and i could not taste it. Vegetable Samosa took back to canteen punjabi samosas and lip-smacking. Hariyali fish Hammour was purely vegetarian flavour. With these kind of starters tummy was already full and was wondering whether main course could go or not. Main courses had Burrata Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Tawa Baingan, Chicken Biryani, Naan and Mushroom Truffle Cottage Cheese Steak. Each dish stood out from each other by taste, Aroma and delectability. Kids enjoyed Naan and Burrata Butter Chicken. Oh yes burrata butter chicken was one of the best I ever had. Soo Burrraataa cheessyy and creamy and Tomatishh and Butterishhh!!! YUMMMIESSTTT Other dish i loved is the Mushroom Truffle Paneer Steak. Rectangular Paneer sauteed in the pan fresh and lip-smacking and best was mushroom truffle where the mushrooms were finely diced which at first i thought was risotto. Mushroom sooo appetizing and engaging. Tawa Baingan the third favourite had kadai chicken kick to it. Desserts had Chandrakala with Orange rabri. Every heavy meal has to end with a Sweet note. Indian sweets the best to end the note. Sweet was plated with blueberry puree and crushed pistachio. Did they know those were 2 of my favourite compliments in sweets! Had an awesome Diwali Dhamaka Lunch and my tummy was the Happiest!

location in Barsha

Located Near Lulu Mall, Al Barsha, Dubai. Ambience - Fantastic Service and Staff - Good and very informative Want to see a lot of live cooking in front of one's own eyes, this is the restaurant to go with fmily and kids. There is Live Grill, Live Dessert and Kulfi section, Live Chaat corner and also Live Vegan and Non-Vegan noodles/rice tossing corner. A restaurant with full-on entertaining and unlimited buffet widespread varieties. Once seated next to the where the grills are placed there is the Flag which signals the server to fill/place more grills. Live grills consists of Peri-Peri Chicken, Chicken drumsticks, Chilli Garlic fish, Coastal B.B.Q. Prawns and Turkish lamb kebab from the Non-Vegan. Cajun Spiced Potatoes, Chilli Cinamon Pineapple, Crispy fry Corns and Achari Paneer Tikka from the Vegan. All these could be eaten either with or without dipping. Dippings consisted of Mango Sauce, Mayannoise and White sauce. Was only disappointed with the turkish lamb whic was not cooked from inside very well, was expecting a juicer lamb. Went to Chaat corner had pani puri, dahi puri and papdi chaat. lip-smacking and mouth-watering street epicness. There is also Live Pav bhaji which one can order nad will be served to the table. Could not try out the main dishes as tummy was full with the live grill stuffings. Live station tried out the duck meat tossed with rice noodles, szechuan, mirinda ginger sauce and carrots. The Zingy essence of Asian cuisine and Duck was cooked with perfection. Desserts Section handled by Chef Rahul had more of the live corner. The culinary art of making jalebis were live in action which was soaked in sugar syrup and eaten warm and crispy. Kulfi counter was the crowded the most. Rahuls art in creating five range of kulfis just within a span of 5 minutes should have been recorded in Guinness world records. My Favourite was the Mango Falooda which was served in a bowl of vermicelli, basil seeds, thick cream and rose syrup. Chocolte kulfi topped with chocoaltes syrup and sprinkles. Strawberry Kulfi topped with Malai and straberry syrup. Gulkand falooda served in a bowl of vermicelli, basil seeds, thick cream and rose syrup. Malai Kulfi topped with paan sauce and paan sprinkles. Enjoyed this section the most whic had Street food aficionados. One of the best Gulab Jamuns which were small, melt in the mouth and so soft. Payasam was another favourite done so right. Visit was extra special came to celebrate Hubster birthday. Barbeque Nation did it byserving a medium sized white forest cake and their staff singing in for the birthday Boy. The cake was delectable and appetizing. Thanks a lot for making me and my Family extra special. Definitely would come again. (Definitely missed out on the main courses and the biryani section as tummy was fully stuffed ) Note : Highly recommend to come with a very very hingry tummy in order to try the widespread array of main dishes and all the live counters

The H Dubai
location in Sheikh Zayed Rd
Posted over a year ago
Located at H hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, Ground floor. Ambience - Excellent Service and Staff - Quick and Informative. Why go to Mumbai when there is a part of Mumbai in every corner of Dubai. Interiors speak aloud the streets and vibes of Mumbai. The theme was totally 80's midas touch from Sanyo Tv, Telephone, old cassettes, posters of movies and even the songs played in the background were the Old Classics. Reminisce of Past Memories and Good Old days where no technology was born and only Humans to converse too. Menu was typical mumbai street delicacies and food was also served in mumbaish style Copper utensils. From the drinks ordered Berry Masala Coke where the flavours and aroma of masala stenched as one sips into. Starters or Lip-smacking street chaats had the Bhel Puri served in cone shaped packaging gave the thumbs up of munching and crunching to Chat. Instead of mains directly went to Desserts. Ordered Baked Gulab Jamun, Chocolate Pudding with Berry Sauce and Anaar Ras Ice Gola. Baked Gulab jamuns bombed with flavours of desi jamuns drenched in a lot of rabdi and garnished with pistachios, Pure Bliss. Chocolate Pudding where the outer crust was crispy and inside drenched in chocolate topped with berry sauce, Amazing combo. Anaar Ras Ice Gola - Keep licking and sipping and licking and drinking, Yummiest. Prices reasonable and Qunatity of each dish 2 or # people can share. BUT super hungry then best have it all byself. Background Music and Chit-Chat Gupshup
