Restaurant Description
In the year 2000 the first Gazebo restaurant was set up with an intention to introduce this fascinating style of cuisine to the city. Although initially it filled the gap in the market for an authentic Dum Pukth restaurant, today it leads in its category. Gazebo brings to the table traditional recipes from the royal kitchens of Lucknow, Avadh and the North Western Frontier, which were ruled by the Dum Pukht cuisine. Patrons cannot help but rave about the Raan-E-Sikandari, Jhinga Zaitooni, Murgh Zafrani Biryani, Dhingri Mutter Paneer and many more. Live coals are placed in layers under the cauldrons to impart just the right amount of heat to cook a particular dish. This, like many other little details, are part of the trade secrets which have been passed down from one generation to the next.

The Biryani at Gazebo is legendary. It sits in the menu as the uncrowned king of the Dum Pukth family. Along with it are the famed grills of Gazebo. The fabulous ambience sets the mood for the cuisine that is truly fit for royalty.

I have been trying to call Gazebo - Internet City for the last 45 minutes (since 8.15pm) and the phone is busy. This is appaling. Please get several telephone lines if you want to do business. Finally when I spoke to them at 9.05pm. They refused to deliver the food saying that they stop delivery at 9.00pm. I told them that the closing tome on this site was 10,00pm. They had too many deliveries. It seems that they have a lot of business and do not need any more customers. Its food for thought for all you good customers, Gazebo is not a customer friendly restaurant,

This restaurant already has a huge fan base amongst the Indian crowd, with many who claim this to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Dubai. Unlike its glitzy counterpart in Bur Dubai, this DIC branch isn’t high on its décor, but the location, and for 2 reasons. Firstly, during the week, its strategic placement right in heart of DIC means that it feeds the addiction to ‘curries and naan’ of the hundreds of office-goers around here. Secondly, (and the reason we actually go here), the seating area outside faces a lake and green grassy scenery, which is incredibly relaxing on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Both the times that we’ve been to this particular branch have been on Saturday afternoons, when they have hardly any other customers, so we’ve pretty much been waited on hand and foot!
The food is just as brilliant as the main restaurant. We always try a new dish everytime we visit. Most of their prawn dishes are amazing. Also the mutton biryani is worth a mention, and obviously, the grilled kababs are what made them famous in the first place!
This place is definitely a nice place to visit for a weekend lunch if you live in the Emirates hills/Marina area, and don’t really feel like driving all the way into town.
