Restaurant Description
The Grill takes diners on a personalised journey at the ‘meat station’ allowing them to select the country of origin, preferred cut of meat, rubs and sauces as well as cooking style – all indicated on a flag which accompanies the meat on its journey through the kitchen and onto the table.

The cuts, offered at The Grill, are freshly imported from Australia, Brazil, New Zealand and the USA. “The concept behind The Grill is inspired from a butcher’s shop and offers diners the opportunity to be involved in the preparation of their steak including the selection of cut, cooking style and rubs” said Chef Jabulani. The Grill offers scrumptious steaks starting from just AED 65 onwards.

In addition to the choice of steaks, The Grill offers diners typical “bistro fare”; all prepared on a grill for that extra charred taste. Signature dishes include the Prego Rolls made from a slice of pan-fried sirloin beef prepared in traditional African peri-peri sauce, topped with fried onions and placed between a Portuguese bread roll. The Dagwood is the ultimate pub burger made of a 200gm basted beef burger, layers of cheddar cheese, turkey ham, fried onions, beef bacon, fried eggs, topped with tasty greens and veggies as well as a choice of sauce.

The Grill also houses a wide selection of wines, both white and red, as well as guest beers and regular house beverages and soft drinks.

I went for a Friday lunch and i was super disappointed. The drinks options are limited and so is the food. For the food, the spread was limited to cold appetisers, fish and chips, some cold sandwiches, and a lot of meat (no chicken, no veg) For the drinks, the good thing is that have a lot of beer options. Apart from there just 3 cocktails, one of which was sangria and limited sprits. For the price they’re charging, its fine, but food options need improvement.
