One of the very few places in Dubai with Indian brunch and amazing (desi) music. The indoors are as good as any lounge/ club. The place was almost packed and we were almost 20 of us. We were seated in the corner, and even then the service was beyond great. Starters and chaat were on the table, and honestly, were delishhh! Chicken tikka to pain puri shots, everything was amazing. They had a wide variety of drinks also for the brunch, I loved their cocktails. Hardly tried the desserts and main course, but what whatever I tried for desserts was amazing.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Let me start with the food. They served a complimentary drink (a few ounces) with a tiny "tikki" on the side. It was different, good different. We then ordered a variety of starters which were all decent. I remember liking them all but not loving them! We then ordered a rogan josh gosht which, to me, was average. My parents ordered a vegetarian dish recommended by the server which my folks enjoyed but I've eaten better subzis. The roomali roti was excellent! I personally wouldn't recommend it for the food but would not resist going if someone else is keen. If I had to use one word to describe the food I'd say it's "Decent".
Now on to the atmosphere and service! I found the restaurant a little "cold". it was probably the layout, the colors, etc. A big, fancy restaurant can look warm and inviting but I didn't get that feeling when I walked in. It's not a deal breaker though. It's a nicely done restaurant.
The service was good. All the servers were very attentive. The lady assigned to our table was good and made suggestions with so much passion that I felt obligated to try the dishes out. May be annoying to some, was not to us.
There was one thing that was odd though. We asked for water at room temperature and they brought out an Aqua Panna. Later we noticed the folks at our neighboring table drinking out of an Al Ain bottle (local water). We then requested for the same. The server said that because they are regulars they get the Al Ain bottle. We then insisted we wanted the same. It wasn't the value as much as the principal of the matter. To our request she responded that they would be able to bring out the Aqua Panna right away whereas the local water would take longer to arrange for. However, they brought it out right away. We were all a little confused with the whole thing.
In short, I wouldn't necessary recommend this place however, I wouldn't resist if it's someone else's suggestion!
