Dined here on Thanksgiving day as they were one of the few restaurants offering a Thanksgiving meal. 4 course meal for about AED 180. Soup & Risotto were very good but I thought the main course Turkey could have been better. The fourth course which was the cheesecake for desert was very good but was missing some crust! Service was not too good. First we wanted to sit in the Terrace area of the restaurant but they said it was all reserved. Since we were only 4 of us and it was mostly empty, we asked them if they could accommodate us but they refused. The terrace area remained fairly less occupied until we left the restaurant so we found that very strange. Some of my guests were quite upset with this and that is why I have given a poor rating on service. Difficult to get a spot here after 8:30pm so I advise booking in advance.

This trendy place Caramel Restaurant & Lounge, consisting of a lounge bar, a restaurant and lounge with a DJ. Quiet the night I went because of Ramadan and the restriction of alcohol, but outside this period must be reserved primarily for a table on weekends. The first thing you notice is the little light (illumination of the sieved), then to read to forget. The tables are simple, with easy chairs but without much fuss, like covered. The kitchen is rather international merger. Servers (keynote speakers) are very hospitable and slinky skirts for girls .... we will say that it sells.
As flat, I opted for the "Steak & Frites", excellent cuts of beef sliced ??served separately with a pepper sauce and another with balsamic vinegar, served with French fries with cheese and spices. Excellent meat, tender fried to perfection and very interesting with the mixture. Beautiful presentation of the dish.

In the end, pleasant evening, good food and hospitality.

Areas for improvement:
- A bit expensive compared to other restaurant, but you pay the "hipness" .....

The beef burger at Caramel is to die for.I know what your thinking;you wouldn't want to go to a place like Caramel and order a burger. But they melt in your mouth and its presented in the most unique way.You dont just get a big fat burger. One portion of the burger is equal to 3 mini burgers that looks cute and presentable.
Also the creamy chicken pasta is very good. They also serve french fries with a cheese sauce-something i would definitely order next time.
