Went here for a friend's birthday dinner. We were a group of around 15 people. The chutney and papad were just amazing. For starters we ordered tawa tikka aloo, paneer tikka, hara bhara kabab and mahi tikka. The tawa tikka aloo was like a hidden gem, so glad I insisted my friends to order it. Hara bhara kabab is something I generally don't prefer, so I dint like it much. Mahi tikka was really soft and tasted brilliant with the chutney and so did the paneer tikka.
For maincourse, we ordered dal makhni, paneer butter masala and murgh makhni. The gravy of murgh makhni was creamy, thick but the chicken was slightly chewy. Dal makhni was pretty much the usual but the quantity was really less.
They also had live singing, the band of which was on a break for a really long while and my friend requested several times for the song he requested but that dint happen.
Definitely returning back for the food.

Thanks you menupages for showing me this restaurant. I had an excellent experience here. I especially loved the ghazal singers and the friendly staff. The relaxed homely atmosphere was perfect backdrop to an exceptionally delcious dinner.
I came here with my family and I will definitely come again with friends next time.
Do not miss the kebabs and biryani - absolutely bursting with flavours. I am yearning for them now!

I am really excited about this new restaurant at the movenpick. The food quality was outstanding as was the service.
I asked the waiters advice and they offered to make my food choices for me - so after a little guidance about my preferences for spice and meats etc... they proceeded to serve up some really delicious treats. I found leaving them to make the order quite liberating as they gave me things that i perhaps wouldn't normally choose.
My favourites in the course were the starter kebabs - one mutton, one king prawn and one chicken. A really delcicious contrast.
We also completely devoured the chutneys in the middle of the table, which were delicious.
The other positive things (other than the food and service) about this restaurant is that it is licensed and smart without being completely pretentious.
I felt completely at home at Chutneys and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It was a pleasure to also meet the chef at the end of the meal who was keen to hear our feedback. I will definitely come again.
