Restaurant Description
In May 1999, we at, Zaatar W Zeit, took our love for the manousheh to a whole new level, opening our first branch in Sodeco, Beirut, to offer a new spin on this Lebanese favorite to manousheh lovers all over Lebanon, in a comfortable and cozy environment, with friendly service and a smile.

Today, ZWZ is the number one destination when you get that all-too-familiar grumbling in your belly! We made the staple of Lebanese cuisine a hero by upgrading it and modernizing it for a new generation.

Our ambition is to simultaneously modernize, and upgrade our offer - adding convenience, opening up the menu, and creating a space for customers to experience our warmth and hospitality but in a less formal environment.

We sort of drove all the way to Festival City just to try this, Not kidding. We ordered one fries and cheese in a skillet and one Lahmeh bi ajjine. The fries and cheese tasted good and disappeared in no time though I felt the quantity was too less only sufficient for 2 people. But the combination of the fries with sourcream is genius. The manakeesh on the other hand was thin crisp like the thinnest flatbread you could think of. Because it was literally the size of one big pappad and I presume this is the only manakeesh with meat on the menu. Though it tasted good it's not filling, it literally went down in two bites. But great food quality and service, just remember each dish is sufficient for only one person and not to be shared.

The place is nice but that's the only good thing about this fast food thing.
There's nothing of a restaurant there as it only ranges in the fast food type.
Plus it's pricey for what you get and it's quality.
If you're in a rush you could go there but it doens't deserve to pass sone time.
