Restaurant Description
Capri Italian Restaurant first opened its doors in 1981, but its history actually goes back further to 1973 when it operated under a
different name. The first pizzeria in the UAE, it has become popular as a casual, affordable, year round dining choice among the residents of Dubai.

The restaurant offers Italian cuisine including its much loved thin crust pizzas. It also offers grilled steaks, seafood dishes, and other popular continental dishes.

It is conveniently located next to the Dubai World Trade Center, at The Dubai Trade Center Apartments.

With its warm atmosphere and wholesome home-cooking charm, whether it is a panini for lunch or a pizza for dinner, we hope to welcome you at Capri Italian Grill.

We accidentally visited this restaurant for Lunch while we were on the trek to find another restaurant. I have had their garlic bread before and it certainly lives up to it's name, main issue here is the food takes a very long time to be served. From what I've heard I from my friends it can take up to 45 minutes for the food to be served and we only had around 45 minutes for Lunch before we get back to our classes. We expressed our concern with the staff and they agreed to serve a pasta dish quickly.

We ordered one Lasagna Bolognese and 1 garlic bread with cheese. We were the only customers around that time and the interiors have a very old classic touch to it. We were served a complimentary plate of olives and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Lasagna was served quicker than expected and portions wise it's easily sufficient for 2. The Lasagna was super flavourful win loads of beef lashing and layers and cheese. More cheese would be appreciated but it was a great dish overall. The garlic bread with cheese was ordered after the meal and I'm glad we ordered it. You get 5 pieces and even though the cheese is an extra Aed 4 please do order it, so worth it. I could easily rate this as one of the better garlic breads I've had. Price wise also it's decently priced for the quantity and quality.

Love this place. Just went last Thursday and bumped into a few friends. This place is an old gem only known by Dubai's old timers. I tried the calabria pizza which was excellent. They gave me some garlic powder which goes well with the pizza.

A small, quiet, cozy restaurant with dim lighting and a beautiful setup. The lasagna is pretty good. I like to have my lasagna spicier than what they have. And not to miss their garlic bread with cheese! Its really yummy. The service is good too.

There's something about this restaurant that maintains its popularity amongst people who've been in Dubai since a few decades. Despite there being a wide selection of Pizza / Italian restaurants in Dubai, many of us zero down on Capri. Their food's great and has been consistent over the years. The ambiance is cozy, perfect for an informal family outing ad their service is fairly good too.

This little restaurant off of Sheikh Zayed Rd is a treasure of Dubai. Their paper thin pizza is so light, it actually feels like you are eating it in Italy. The lasagna and the baked mashed potatoes are all items on the menu that should not be missed.

I love this small little italian restaurant. Its one of dubai's first restaurants on sheikh zayed road located in the WTC apartment block. Good pizza, good pasta, good lasagne and good service.
