Restaurant Description
In 1963, when Jimmy Antonopoulos immigrated to Canada from Nafplio, Greece, he brought four things with him: ingenuity, passion, an entrepreneurial spirit and a friendly smile.

One of his first jobs after moving to Toronto, was working in a restaurant in the Bay Street business district. This is where Jimmy's love of the restaurant business grew. As the city prospered, developed and expanded, Jimmy observed a void in the city core and shopping centres relative to the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) market. In his view, there was both an opportunity and a need for high quality, freshly prepared food, served in a friendly and efficient manner. Today there are over 50 Jimmy The Greek food service operations across Canada.

Of course Jimmy gets the last word. "The success of our operations is a simple recipe: possess a burning desire to offer delicious high quality fresh food, provide fast friendly service and do it with a touch of Greek hospitality." YIA SOU!

Jimmy the Greek is as its name indicates, a Greek restaurant, let's a fast food. The most interesting story is that Jimmy the Greek exists! The story of a young Greek immigrant (Jimmy Antonopoulos) in Canada who opened his first restaurant 30 years ago. To date, three restaurants are open in Dubai including the Dubai Mall.

The one I choose is located on the 2nd floor in the "Food Court". It is possible to eat there (very noisy given the number of restaurant) or to take take-away, option that I chose.
The choice of dishes is varied enough, mainly chicken, lamb, pork, salmon, moussaka or vine leaves. With meat, choice of salad Greek, rice or large potatoes.

That day I chose a "chicken souvlaki" namely a chicken kebab with big potatoes. The meat was very tender good, good potatoes, too, it was perhaps lacking and a sauce for flavor.

Fast service but staff not friendly. Correct price (AED 25)

Areas for improvement:
- Too noisy to eat there
- People should smile a little (unsympathetic)
